Intro In Canada today, the population consists of well over 1 million Aboriginal Canadians. Not all communities are found in urban centres though, as there are many still living on historic reserves which are rich with their beautiful and unique culture. There are 3 main branches of Aboriginals; First Nations, Inuit, and Metis. Despite having a harsh history of discrimination, these cultures have worked together to survive and continue to prevail today. Their religion varies across the country and has been influenced in different ways in the past so that no matter where you visit, you are sure to notice the unique culture that the faith has to offer.
